Your article had a great impact on me! Up to now, I’ve maintained separate Facebook and Twitter accounts for personal and professional contacts/communications. I’ve responded to political commentary in both realms but have not presented my thoughts or positions proactively. I came off the sidelines during the 2016 campaign but only via email to a select few friends. I’m a new author on Medium, which I expect to be a better platform than Facebook or Twitter for an intelligent, civil exchange. Sound too hopeful?
