Sharing Leslie’s Journey with Cancer
Chronicling the journey and dealing with grief
Some of you are aware, we lost our dear daughter-in-law, Leslie, to cancer in February of this year — 4 days short of her 43rd birthday. She fought valiantly for almost 4 years, and during that time, I communicated my/our love and support for her through my poetry. In this manner, I also kept my Medium friends aware of her story, and inturn, they sent their support to Leslie and our family. I will never forget how you rallied around Leslie, Sam, Ella, Maren, and us.
