I love that story, Terijo. In the same vein as — you can inherit insanity from your kids — my current hero is my daughter-in-law. I’ve written about her a couple times this year: once when the cancer returned, as they say, “with a vengeance” (8 tumors throughout her body); and again, after the report that no tumors could be seen by the radiologist.

This pic is of Leslie with her 2 daughters who were visiting shortly after a discussion with her doctor where “life expectancy” dominated and “cure” was curiously (couldn’t resist) not part of the discussion. She’s now cancer-free.
I provided the funny noses because I didn’t think having a 9 and 13-year-old give the finger (to cancer) was appropriate. Their collective attitude, which I’m sure is evident in the picture, they brought with them!
