One side sanity
The other, insanity
Straddling the line
Then across — there the Block is
The curse what stops my verses

Hoping to return
Standing at the ledge’s edge
My editor waves
I scream for a theme — she yells
“Sorry, but I’m not a mused

I’m back writing stuff
Won’t leave this chair on a dare
No longer worried
‘Bout writer’s block — the Writer’s
Wedgie’
s what makes me edgy
